Hello world!!Hello world!!Windows Mobile/Windows Phone Desktop Installation
NOTE: At the time of install, you must have cell connection and 3G connection(or Broadband #777 for Windows 6.0) to install this app.
The desktop installer (located in the Installer Desktop folder) will allow users to run an installer from their Windows desktop. This installation process works as follows:
- 1. Connect your Windows Mobile device via ActiveSync to your desktop using USB or Bluetooth. For more information on connecting your device via ActiveSync, visit http://search.microsoft.com/Topicspage.aspx?mkt=en-US&q=activesync.
- 2. Once connected, download and run the SMSReplierSetup.exe application.
- 3. Click Next to continue.
- 4. Click the Deploy button to install the SMSReplier application onto the device. At this point, the installer will be copied to the connected device and will run on that device.
- 5. After the installation begins on the device, you may be prompted that “The program is from an unknown publisher.” and you will be asked whether you would like to continue. Be sure to click “Yes” to continue.
- 6. Once complete with the installation, the device will restart.
The first time you run the application, you will be asked to register your device. Once you have completed the registration process, you can begin using SMS Replier!
Device Installation
The device installer (located in the Installer PocketPC folder) will allow users to run an installer directly on their device. This installation process works as follows.
- 1. Transfer the SMSReplierAutorun.exe application to the device directory of your choosing (i.e. Temp). This transfer can be accomplished by either downloading the executable from a web site or from the Microsoft Windows Mobile Market.
- 2. Run the executable on the device by clicking the file name in the File Explorer application.
- 3. After the installation begins on the device, you may be prompted that “The program is from an unknown publisher.” and you will be asked whether you would like to continue. Be sure to click “Yes” to continue.
- 4. Once complete with the installation, the device will restart.
The first time you run the application, you will be asked to register your device. Once you have completed the registration process, you can begin using SMS Replier!

After downloading the application from Android Markt or from your browser at Trickortracker.com, this is the screen you will be prompted first. If you do not get this screen, you may need to go to Settings-> Applications - Check the Box Unknown sources

Please enter accurate registration information here for the Parent, not the child.
At this point, you may choose to setup the childs phone or the parent's phone. It is suggested that you setup the childs phone first.

Being a new setup, the child's phone needs to be entered with the monitoring parents number and the security code that will be shared between parent and child installations of Trick or Tracker.

At this point you are going to want to enter the parents number, and a security code. Do not share this security code with anyone. This is more valuable than your bank ATM Pin. This is your child's secret code to get their location. Any phone will be able to get the location of the child's phone knowing this security code. KEEP IT SECRET

If you like, and we suggest it, press the interval drop down and set your childs phone up to notify you on a regular basis, (when your child's phone is on)

For the purpose of demonstration, we have chosen to have the child's phone send the child's location to the parent every 15 mins.

Pressing SEND LOCATION sends an unscheduled notice of location to the parent. In the event that the child wishes to notify the parent of their immediate location for one reason or the other.

After pressing SEND LOCATION, a text message with the precise location of the child is sent to the parent's number that was entered and stored into the settings, and the parents phone if it is a smartphone is triggered to launch google maps. If the parents phone is not a smartphone (a clickable link is in the text message from the childs phone to launch the mapping software on the parents phone, or the parent simply has the precise location where the child is.

Finally the child main screen gives the option to locate the parents by pressing the LOCATE PARENT button.

Now the childs phone will launch a daytime graphical image map of the parents location

Changing SETTINGS in your childs phone, press the menu button on the phone and this screen will appear:

Press SETTINGS and the main settings screen from above will be launced. At this point you can switch parent phone numbers and security codes if you so desire.
If you chose to install the parent's phone, upon install this screen will appear, prompting you to enter and setup your childs phone to be tethered to the parents phone.

Enter the childs number and that same security code that you created on the childs settings.

From this point you may wish to LOCATE CHILD or CHANGE SETTINGS
Pressing LOCATE CHILD will send a request to the childs phone, using the secret code, retrieving the GPS coordinates of the child and a physical address of the childs location (in most cases).
